The Plaza is open for public use. You are free to sign up to an hour of making or to observe. The Plaza is a space for workshopping ideas surrounding the growing need to be self-organised* as individual artists and as a wider creative community. In preparation we have invited some artist-run initiatives based in Edinburgh to occupy The Plaza. The Plaza pays participants the Living Wage per A3 page produced in the Plaza. We provide materials: crayon, pens and paper, though participants are welcome to bring their own. Every hour a new page will be printed on our in-house Risograph printer and added to a finished publication. The pages produced in The Plaza will be an archive, documenting artist-run initiatives in Edinburgh today — a living archive. There will be 10 surplus prints produced each hour which are free for public collection.
